Business Project

The AggieSat Lab business students work with the engineers to facilitate the continuation of the program. The business project is made up of four divisions that work together to advance and fund Aggie Sat Lab.

AggieSat Business Divisions:

• Accounting: The accounting division works within the budget to process purchase orders as well as evaluate the efficiency of our projects.
• Marketing: Through the implementation of creative marketing strategies, this division strives to fund the various AggieSat Lab projects. Currently, the marketing team is busy organizing the first annual �Friends of AggieSat� banquet for businesses who are interested in furthering their knowledge of and/or contributing to the future of AggieSat Lab. In addition to this, numerous promotional items are being prepared by the marketing team to advertise AggieSat Lab such as promotional videos, slide shows, and presentations.
• Management: With countless efforts focused on recruitment, the management team is working to expand the size of AggieSat Lab and foster its continued success. Each new member not only helps to expand the future of AggieSat Lab, but is also given the opportunity to enrich his or her undergraduate experience and gain skills that will be beneficial for countless years to come. The management team is also actively working towards the completion of the Team X Concept discussed below.
• Team AggieSat Concept: This massive project requires all of the various divisions to work in partnership in order to create a database of vital parts and skill sets for each individual project. Upon the completion of this phenomenal project, we will have the ability to pull up any desired fact on a satellite with the mere push of a few buttons.
• Finance: This division is responsible for ensuring the organization�s financial security through the implementation of a strategic investment plan that is currently being devised. Furthermore, the finance team is collaborating with the marketing team and the engineers to establish a finalized budget for the program.
• INFO: The INFO division is responsible for all information management in Aggie Sat Lab.
