Bio

Mr. Graves was born in Ft. Worth, TX, since then he has lived in Orlando, Kansas City, Austin and Houston. In the fall of 2003 John started his career at Texas A&M. Due to a lifelong interest in space flight and engineering, he selected Aerospace Engineering as his major. Mr. Graves was brought onto the AggieSat project shortly after a meeting he and Dr. Reed had in December of 2004. Originally, John was the Mission Design Lead (MDN), where he worked on the mission architecture. This position developed into the Mission Design and operations lead in January of 2006, he then added Operation Systems Development to his work. As of May of 2006 Mr. Graves has been the official Program Manager for AggieSat1.
